## Questions

### Does this course give legal advice?

No. It explains published consumer guidance from regulators such as CSLB in California and QBCC in Queensland. Rules change by place and over time. For a large contract, ask a lawyer where you live.

### I am not in California or Queensland. Is the course still useful?

Yes. The lessons use these regulators as worked examples because they publish clear rules. Find the regulator for your state, province or country and read its own rules.

### Does passing the exam mean that I can vet builders for other people?

No. The certificate of completion records that you passed the exam on this site. It is not a licence, an accreditation or a professional qualification.
